Welcome to our class page. There are 30 children in our year 6 class. Miss Cappella is our teacher and Mrs Sherwin is our teaching assistant. We are also fortunate to have Mr English working with us 4 days a week, in the mornings. We have a busy but exciting year planned. Remember to regularly check our class page to see what we have been up to.

Important Information

We are have PE on Wednesday and Friday.

Home learning books needed to be signed by parents each week and handed in on Mondays.

Homework is handed out on Fridays and due in on the following Wednesday.

Spelling log books will be coming home daily which contain spellings that the children are working on, These will be tested at school at the end of each spelling unit (every two weeks)

Our topic this term is The Olympics

We will be learning about the history of the modern Olympic games in preparation for the Summer Olympics this year in Rio. We will link our learning across the curriculum, learning about our bodies and the effects of exercise and healthy eating as well as taking part in a range of sporting activities ourselves.
