This week, we will be writing our own adventure story. Today we will be focusing on planning it. You need 5 main elements:
I have given you ideas for each stage in the attached document. I have also included a WAGOLL for a final piece of writing. Use this to give you a few ideas. Remember, a plan is just about getting your main ideas on the page. It might be bullet points. It might just be key words or phrases. Try to think of some really exceptional words that you might use in the upcoming days.
I have attached the plan for the next fews days of writing, so you can see the journey that we are on.
Today, your spellings are:
Please can your practise these using fancy writing. For example, you might use dots, graffiti or flicky letters.
Our work today follows on from yesterday. You need to remember that if it is 2.6- that means I have 2 wholes and 6 tenths. Therefore, it is more than 1.
We will be recapping our understanding of the water cycle. Please have a go at the labelling activity. There are 3 levels of difficulty, so please choose the one that will challenge you. I have attached a fun game that you can play with a member of your family, to teach them about the water cycle. Finally, I have attached an investigation. This is optional, but may be interesting!
Please make sure you are reading for 25 minutes. If you can, write down what you think about it in your reading log.
This is optional, however I thought it looked fun! It will work best with lego, but I’m sure you could use your amazing imaginations to find something else if you don’t have any around.
Imagine you won the lottery. Design your own house.
I’d love to see some finished dream houses!
