Physical Development – Fine motor control skills

If you would like to continue with the handwriting patterns this week. You were doing tunnels before half term- now it is a chance to do long and short sides on your tunnels.  (These will help for ascender letters – the letters that travel up, beyond the line. –l and t) Can you make them better than yesterday?

Communication Language and Literacy

I have saved the story of the Rainbow Fish on the Reception story time page - under the badger. Have another listen today. Maybe turn the sound off and have a go at reading the story or retelling it through the pictures. 

Reading

Have another look at the i_e sound today - nice smile. This clip will give you some new words.

Maths today is through a story about having and sharing half. I hope you enjoy...

 

Give me half – is a story about sharing and halving.  The 2 children have to share the food – you may be able to relate to some of the goings on between the brother and sister in this story.
