Monday - guided reading
We are continuing to try to expand our vocabulary choices. Look at the list of words below and see if you can sort them into the characters which you think each word best describes. If you are not sure of the meaning of a word, you will have to look it up in a dictionary. See if you can justify why you have placed specific words with different characters.

Today we are learning about the confirmation service. Flick through the PowerPoint below to find out all about it! Then have a go at using the PowerPoint to complete the leaflet about confirmation. Try to make your leaflet as informative as possible. Make sure you put the information into your own words. You will be able to complete this tomorrow.

This week, we are mainly focusing on estimation and inverse. Use the PowerPoints to help and then have a go at the activities.
Monday: We are spending the afternoon finishing off any incomplete pieces of work in class. As you can't do this, why don't you log on to TT Rockstars/Numbots?
Tuesday: Today we are thinking about Remembrance Sunday and creating our own poppies. How will you create a poppy to help you remember?
Wednesday afternoon/ Friday: As it is the last day of the half term, we are spending the morning summarising what we have learnt about Ancient Egypt by creating a multiple choice Scratch game. You should be able to access Scratch at home. Check with a parent before you create an account, however, you don't actually need an account to use the programme.
