Week 3 - Maths
This week is the last week of our mini topic - Find my Pattern.
We are looking at odd and even numbers this week.
The children begin to understand that some quantities will share equally into 2 groups and some won’t. They may also notice that some quantities can be grouped into pairs and some will have one left over. Use the resources below and the White Rose link. If you have any other opportunities for maths at home - provide opportunities for them to explore these ideas in different contexts as they play and to talk about what they notice.
Encourage the children to notice that sometimes we can make even pairs and sometimes there is an odd one left out.
