Tricky words are also known as 'red words' in Read Write Inc.  They are the words that you just have to learn. They have to be learnt as 'sight words'.

The children are all learning at different stages - you may be able to take on 1 a day, 1 a week, or just as you are more confident introduce a new one. The sheets below are for you to colour in and keep a tab on the progress on reading trick words.
