This week we are looking at life in the jungle - we are doing this through the story 'Night Monkey Day Monkey' by Julia Donaldson.

Once you have heard the story can you try this task:

Can you draw a picture based on something you can recall from the story? Can you split it into Day and Night?

Can you write a key word / short sentence / extended sentence about your picture - part of the story?  

Have a look at the Jungle PowerPoint below - find out a bit more about Jungle animals. Can you make an information book about some of the Jungle animals you have found out about?
