Full Time Sport & P.E Assistant required from September 2022 (hours negotiable)
Full time Sport & P.E Assistant to work with all year groups and with a specialist focus on the sports development of children within the school. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with our friendly team. This is, initially, a one year post to be reviewed.
We are looking for someone who -
- Has experience of working with children;
- Has experience of sports coaching and running sports clubs;
- Is willing to attend sports events;
- Can run P.E interventions and support P.E lessons;
- Can help inspire and motivate our pupils;
- Has a flexible approach to work;
- Is enthusiastic, caring and motivated.

Potentially an opportunity for someone with an HLTA qualification or QTS to lead sessions. Empathy with our aims and ethos as a Catholic school is essential but you do not have to be a Catholic.

Foundation Governor Vacancy from September 2022
We will have a vacancy for a Foundation Governor at the school from September 2022. Foundation Governors are responsible for understanding, maintaining and developing the distinctive nature of the Catholic school within the Church's mission of education and in awareness of the contribution the Church makes to society through this mission. Being a Governor affords you the opportunity of collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to ensure all children and young people receive enjoyable and developmental learning experiences within a Christ-centred environment. The Governing Body plays a key strategic role in the direction of and accountability for the school, but is also part of a network of relationships within includes children and young people, parents, staff, priests, the Diocese, local authority, DfE and the wider community.
