Current Vacancies

Class Teacher (TMS/UPS - for suitably qualified candidates)

Full time class teacher (Key Stage 2) - we are looking to appoint an exemplary, highly motivated, enthusiastic classroom practitioner to join our very friendly and committed team to continue to provide excellent provision for the children. 

We are looking for someone who -

  • Is sympathetic and supportive of the Catholic ethos
  • Is an exemplary classroom teacher, with a proven track record of good/outstanding teaching, who has high expectations of all pupils
  • Is enthusiastic, keen to progress and willing to give 100%
  • Is creative, innovative and committed to school development.
  • Has high expectations of pupil achievement and will play a role in raising standards
  • Is inspirational, well organised and with a positive 'can do' approach.

Full Time Sport & P.E Assistant required as soon as possible (hours negotiable)

Full time Sport & P.E Assistant to work with all year groups and with a specialist focus on the sports development of children within the school.  This is a wonderful opportunity to work with our friendly team.  This is, initially, a one year post to be reviewed.

We are looking for someone who -

  • Has experience of working with children;
  • Has experience of sports coaching and running sports clubs;
  • Is willing to attend sports events;
  • Can run P.E interventions and support P.E lessons;
  • Can help inspire and motivate our pupils;
  • Has a flexible approach to work;
  • Is enthusiastic, caring and motivated.

Potentially an opportunity for someone with an HLTA qualification or QTS to lead sessions.

Full Time Teaching Assistant required as soon as possible 31.25 hours a week

We are looking for an experienced full time Teaching Assistant to join our team.  We require someone special who is committed to helping our children to succeed and wants to be a part of our journey as a good school.

We are looking for someone who -

  • Has experience of working with children in either key stage;
  • Can help inspire and motivate our pupils;
  • Has a flexible approach to work;
  • Is enthusiastic, caring and motivated;
  • Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school;
  • Has undertaken ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) training

Foundation and Parent Governor Vacancies 

We have vacancies on our Governing Body for a Foundation Governor and Parent Governor.  Foundation Governors are responsible for understanding, maintaining and developing the distinctive nature of the Catholic school within the Church's mission of education and in awareness of the contribution the Church makes to society through this mission.  Being a Governor affords you the opportunity of collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to ensure all children and young people receive enjoyable and developmental learning experiences within a Christ-centred environment.  The Governing Body plays a key strategic role in the direction of and accountability for the school, but is also part of a network of relationships within includes children and young people, parents, staff, priests, the Diocese, local authority, DfE and the wider community.
