Welcome to Thursday, which is World Book Day!

Don't forget one of the challenges for today is to create a potato person based on a favourite book character of yours.
 

Reading (Zoom at 9.30am)

We will be continuing to read our story of Nik and Norva. 

Spellings (Zoom at 9.30am)

Today you are to have a go at the work in Special Focus 4- don't forget to bring these books back in with you next week!

English (Zoom at 9.30am)

Today we are finishing writing and editing our raps, you can also use this time to practice. 
Continue to think about rhythm, beats and rhyme, as well as how many syllables you have in each line, needs to be less than ten. 

Maths (Zoom at 11am)

Today we are continuing to subtract fractions, by breaking the whole into parts such as having a whole number and subtracting from it. 
Here is the video to support you, but remember that the Zoom at 11 is there to support you and teach you how to do it.

Be prepared to share with us your favourite books and listen to one or two of Miss Stubberfield's favourite stories to share.
