English:

We are doing an English zoom at 10:30am. Please use the link in the email to take part in this.

We are going to write the first paragraph of our book review. We will do an example paragraph on the zoom.

This will be the paragraph which tells us what the book was about. When you are writing this paragraph, you want to give an overview of what has happened, a summary. You don't want to give every single detail otherwise there is no point in somebody else reading the book!!

 

Success criteria for book review paragraph 1:

• Capital letters and full stops
• Adjectives
• Ly words
• Conjunctions (and, but, so, because, which)
• Apostrophes used correctly
• A/an used correctly
