English:
We are doing an English zoom at 10:30am. Please use the link in the email to take part in this. We will discuss how to turn your notes into a paragraph.
Today we are going to write paragraph five and six of our diary entry.
Make sure you have your plan out in front of you when you are writing - plans are made to help you!
Your paragraph today should be 5 or more sentences please. Make sure you are getting detail in there. When your writing is short, it doesn't give the reader much information.
Success criteria:
- Adjectives
- Adverbs (ly words)
- Conjunctions (and, but, so, because, which)
- Time connectives (next, later on, then)
- Prepositions (behind, in front of, next to, behind, opposite)
- Capital letters and full stops
- Interesting sentence starters

Last week we learned about how the Roman Empire spread. We know that they took control of land in England.
Today, we need to learn about how the Romans got to England. Was it easy? Did they just turn up without a fight and take over? Or, did they fight their way into England.

Your task:
Create a timeline to show how the invasions of Britain occurred. You need to include all invasions on there and a few facts about what happened during each invasion.
There is one below if you would like to print this off and complete it. Or you can draw your own versions.
