Literacy:

Today, your task is to write a fact file to display alongside your 3D map of Egypt.

Can you explain why the River Nile was so important to the ancient Egyptians thousands of years ago?

Consider the following aspects:

Floods

Food/crops

Transport/trade

Building

Papyrus

Egyptian calendar based around the floods of the Nile
