English:
We are doing an English zoom at 10:30am. Please use the link in the email to take part in this.
We are going to start off by reading chapters 21 and 22.
Start at 1:53:27.
Imagine that Willy Wonka has improved his Fizzy Lifting Drink. You still have to burb to come down, but it is now very unlikely that you will go too high and not be able to come down.
When you drink some of the Fizzy Lifting Drink, you can float to anywhere that takes your fancy...where would you go?
Write a paragraph or 2 to explain what happens when you lift off and start to float.
You must include:
- Tell me what you can see (use adjectives and prepositions)
- Tell me how you feel
- Tell me about where you land
Success criteria:
- Adjectives
- Conjunctions (and, but, so, because, when)
- Adverbs (ly words)
- Prepositions (next to, behind, in front)
- Similies
- Use a/an correctly
Please make sure that you are writing in detail. We will look at some examples on the zoom.
Topic:
Who was Boudica?
This is your question for this afternoon. She was very important in Roman history. Your job is to find out all about her and then create a wanted poster for her. Yes, she was important but the Romans were not her biggest fan. They wanted her captured and killed. So imagine you are a Roman and you are creating a wanted poster for her.
You need to say who she is, what she has done and if there is a reward. You can either create your own poster or use the templates below.
I have attached a powerpoint full of information below and there are also some links you can look at:
