Welcome Back to the Spring term!#

Below are some activities for you to have a go at today. Please let Miss Stubberfield know if you are struggling to access anything via her usual email. 

English:

Today we are beginning to think about our new class book which is called There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom by Louis Sachar. Have a look at the front cover and blurb, and then fill in the Observe, Wonder and Question sheet below. 

Maths:

Today we are looking at two focuses:

Area of Squares and Rectangles

Area of Compound shapes.

These are both closely linked to one another, Watch the videos below and then tackle the work. Try the video and the first worksheet first before moving onto the second. 

Science 

Today we are doing a simple task to see what we know and want to know about space. Take a piece of paper or use Google Classrooms, and divide the sheet into two. On one side write down the things you know about space, and on the other side write down the things you want to know (can be written as questions or statements). It can be decorated in any way that you wish it to be.
