1- Monday 1st March

 Good Morning Year Five!

I hope you have had a brilliant weekend, I hope you are ready for the final week of Home Learning!

Reading - (Zoom at 9.30am)

Today we are going to read some more of our class book.

There is an activity below linked to the vocabulary we have encountered in the book so far (Chapters 1-9).
It is like the vocab work we did when we read the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, there will be the word, and you have to find the definition.

Kids Britannica

Spellings (Zoom at 9.30am)

We will definitely watch the Spelling Zone video in the lesson today!

Maths (Zoom at 11am)

Today we will be thinking about what happens when we add mixed number and improper fractions.

Adding and Subtracting Mixed Numbers — Rules & Problems - Expii

Like last week there are a lot of steps to do in one go, but looking at it step by step, I know you can do each part.
Here is the video, but we will go through the questions at 11am on our Zoom lesson.

Zones of Regulation:

Today you are going to use the graph you made last week to think about things that trigger you. These are things that can affect your behaviour and behave ina  certain way.
It might be that someone staring at you might make you feel in the yellow or red zone.
Or not being first in the line makes you go into the blue zone.

For the task make a list of things that can put you into the red and yellow zones especially. Do they have something in common?
