I am really looking forward to the spring term and all the learning opportunities we have in store.

We will be starting with Aesop's Fables – they are short tales with a message, moral or lesson to learn. We will have lots of fun doing puppet shows, making books and retelling stories. 

As the term progresses, we will be looking at other traditional tales, some from around the world and some traditional tales that have been rewritten and retold over time. 

I am looking forward to you sharing some of your favourite traditional tales with the class.

I hope we can all be storytellers this term.
