Today I would like you to have a look at the information below about Greek Mythological creatures. 

Notice that they are often made up of different types of animals or have extra heads, body parts, or can do weird things to people who look at them like Medusa!


Which one do you like the most? Which one would you like to find out more about?

Now it is your chance to create your own mythological creature. 

Choose what parts of an animal you would like to use, or perhaps it is a human with some part of the body changed to an animal's. 

Draw it, label it, colour it. 

Give it a name- think about the sounds and meaning of the name. Is it meant to be scary? Or helpful like a centaur?

You will need this for your piece of writing this week.
