Respect week
During this week we launched one of our new school values - Respect. We had different focused throughout the school. Reception learnt about how to care for animals and their garden. Year 1 and 2 explored Recycling. Year 3 and 4 focused on how much plastic we used. Year 5 and 6 learnt about Palm Oil and its impacts on our world.
In Friday assemblies we can now earn certificates for showing respect to our world and other people.
Year 5
Year 5 explored using humour, in their writing, to explore how much some people use Palm Oil and use it all the time! They also learnt about the impacts Palm Oil is having on our world.

Year 3 used their Maths skills to find out how many pieces of non-recyclable plastic were in their lunch boxes. After this they found out about how plastic is damaging our world. Here are some of the posters they made.
