Hello Year 1,

Today is VE day or Victory in Europe Day. VE day marked the end of the war, 75 years ago! Many people will be having stay at home parties and decorating their homes in red, white and blue. Here are some activities and resources to help you to do the same if you'd like to participate. These activities are in place of the normal maths/literacy/phonics work. As it is a bank holiday today, this is optional work. There are a variety of activities so that you can choose what you would like to do. There is also a couple of videos for you to see what this day was like 75 years ago!
