WOW! What a great way to start the second half of the summer term! The children have been busy creating some spectacular projects of various landmarks in the United Kingdom. Take a moment to look through the gallery below!

Welcome to Year 4!

Thank you for visiting the Year Four class page. Please read on to find out about all the learning that is happening and important information to remember.

The spring term is well under way, with many great learning opportunities in class. The children are working really hard in a respectful and co-operative way. Respect and co-operation are two of our six learning skills we have been focusing on.

We kicked off this term with Arts Week. Year 4 children were introduced to Tove Jansson, a Swedish-speaking, Finnish novelist, painter, illustrator and comic strip author. Jansson is best known as the author of the Moomin books for children. We read the book 'Moomin and the Winter Snow,' then analysed the illustrations. From this we created our own pieces of art.
