Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
In the 2013-2014 financial year, primary schools received £953 for each eligible pupil.
In the 2014-2015, 2015-2016 financial years, primary schools will receive £1,320 for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.  Schools will also receive £1,900 for each looked-after pupil who has been looked after for 1 day or more; was adopted from care on or after 30th December 2005 or left care under either a special guardianship order or a residence order.
